Shloka 131

समेधयति यत्नित्यं सर्वार्थान्‌ सर्वकर्मसु । शिवमिच्छन्‌ मनुष्याणां तस्मादेष शिव: स्मृत:,ये मनुष्योंका कल्याण चाहते हुए उनके समस्त कर्माँमें सम्पूर्ण अभिलषित पदार्थोंकी समृद्धि (सिद्धि) करते हैं, इसलिये “शिव” कहे गये हैं

samedhayati yatnityaṁ sarvārthān sarvakarmasu | śivam icchan manuṣyāṇāṁ tasmād eṣa śivaḥ smṛtaḥ ||

قال فياسا: «إنه يُتمّ على الدوام نجاحَ كلِّ المقاصد المرغوبة في كلِّ عمل، طالباً خيرَ البشر. فلذلك يُذكَر باسم “شِيفا” (Śiva)—مُحدِثُ اليُمن والبركة.»
