Shloka 128

एकाक्षो जाज्वतन्नास्ते सर्वतो$क्षिमयो5पि वा । क्रोधाद्‌ यश्चाविशल्लोकांस्तस्मात्‌ सर्व इति स्मृत:,यद्यपि उनके सब ओर नेत्र हैं, तथापि उनका एक विलक्षण अग्निमय नेत्र अलग भी है, जो सदा क्रोधसे प्रज्वलित रहता है; वे सब लोकोंमें समाविष्ट होनेके कारण 'सर्व” कहे गये हैं

ekākṣo jājvatann āste sarvato 'kṣimayo 'pi vā | krodhād yaś cāviśal lokāṁs tasmāt sarva iti smṛtaḥ ||

قال فياسا: مع أنه ذو عيونٍ من كل جانب—بل كأنه مُكوَّنٌ من العيون—فإن له أيضًا عينًا واحدةً فريدةً ناريّةً قائمةً بذاتها، لا تزال متّقدةً بالغضب. ولأنه يتغلغل في جميع العوالم ويشملها، يُذكَر باسم “سَرفا” (الكلّ).
