अपि वर्षसहस्रेण सततं पाण्डुनन्दन । अर्जुन! यह है अजन्मा भगवान् महादेवका महामहिमस्वरूप। मैं सहस्रों वर्षोतक लगातार वर्णन करता रहूँ तो भी भगवानके समस्त गुणोंका पार नहीं पा सकता ।। ११० $ई || सर्वर्गरहैगहीतान् वै सर्वपापसमन्वितान्
api varṣasahasreṇa satataṃ pāṇḍunandana | arjuna, eṣa ajanmā bhagavān mahādevasya mahāmahimā-svarūpaḥ | ahaṃ sahasrāṇi varṣāṇi satataṃ varṇayeyaṃ tathāpi bhagavataḥ samastaguṇānāṃ pāraṃ na prāpnomi ||
قال فياسا: «يا ابن باندو، يا أرجونا! هذا هو الربّ غير المولود، ماهاديفا، وهو عينُ تجسّدِ العظمةِ العليا. ولو ظللت أصفه بلا انقطاع آلاف السنين، لما بلغتُ شاطئَ صفاتِ الربّ كلِّها.»
