sa kālaḥ so 'ntako mṛtyuḥ sa yamo rātryahānī tu | māsārdhamāsā ṛtavaḥ sandhye saṃvatsaraś ca saḥ ||
قال ڤياسا: هو الزمان؛ وهو أَنْتَكَ، المُنهي؛ وهو الموت؛ وهو يَما. وهو أيضًا الليل والنهار، والشهور وأنصاف الشهور، والفصول، وأوقات الشفق، والسنة.
व्यास उवाच
