iti śrīmahābhārate droṇaparvaṇi nārāyaṇāstramokṣaparvaṇi dhṛṣṭadyumnavākye saptanavatyadhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ

Educational Q&A

Although this line is a colophon rather than a doctrinal verse, it points to the ethical gravity of deploying divine weapons in war: such power demands restraint and adherence to dharma, and the narrative marks this episode as a distinct moral and strategic turning point.

The text is closing a chapter within the Droṇa Parva, identifying the episode as the account of the Nārāyaṇa weapon’s release and attributing the chapter’s framing to Dhṛṣṭadyumna’s words.
