Shloka 44

तस्मात्‌ तं परिपप्रच्छ नान्यं कज्चिद्‌ द्विजर्षभ: । तस्मिंस्तस्य हि सत्याशा बाल्यात्‌ प्रभूति पाण्डवे,अतः जन द्विजश्रेष्ठने उन्हींसे वह बात पूछी, दूसरे किसीसे नहीं, क्योंकि बचपनसे ही पाण्डुपुत्रकी सचाईमें आचार्यका विश्वास था

tasmāt taṃ paripapraccha nānyaṃ kaścid dvijarṣabhaḥ | tasmiṃs tasya hi satyāśā bālyāt prabhṛti pāṇḍave ||

قال سنجيا: لذلك سألَه خيرُ «المولودين مرتين» هو—ولم يسأل أحدًا سواه—لأنه منذ الطفولة كان قد علّق رجاءه على صدق ذلك الباندڤي. إن اختيار من يُسأل يعكس اعتمادًا أخلاقيًا على نزاهة مجرَّبة وسط ضغوط الحرب.
