द्रोणपुत्रस्याग्नेयास्त्रप्रयोगः — अर्जुनस्य ब्राह्मास्त्रप्रतिघातः — व्यासोपदेशः

यथा ल्विह व्रजत्येष परलोकाय माधव: । तथा कुरु महाराज सुनीत्या सुप्रयुक्तया,“महाराज! जिस उपायसे भी यहाँ ये मधुवंशी सात्यकि परलोकगामी हो जाये, अच्छी तरह प्रयोगमें लायी हुई सुन्दर नीतिके द्वारा वैसा ही प्रयत्न करो”
sañjaya uvāca | yathā lviha vrajaty eṣa paralokāya mādhavaḥ | tathā kuru mahārāja sunītyā suprayuktayā ||
قال سانجيا: «يا ماذافا (كريشنا)، كما أنّ هذا الرجل هنا يمضي الآن إلى العالم الآخر (الموت)، كذلك، أيها الملك، فاعمل على وفق ذلك—بسياسةٍ سديدةٍ مُحكَمة التطبيق. استعمل تدبيرًا نبيلًا موجَّهًا بإحكام ليؤول الأمر إلى تلك الغاية.»
संजय उवाच
Even in war, outcomes are pursued through nīti (policy/strategy) that is ‘su-prayukta’—carefully and effectively applied. The verse frames lethal intent as something to be executed through disciplined, well-directed means rather than impulsive violence.
Sañjaya reports counsel about ensuring that a particular warrior—identified in the accompanying gloss as Sātyaki—be made ‘paralokagāmī’ (sent to the next world). The instruction urges the king’s side to employ a well-planned, properly executed strategy to bring about that death.
