Droṇa’s Withdrawal, Death, and the Kaurava Rout (द्रोणनिधन-प्रसङ्गः)
संजय उवाच ततः सर्वाणि सैन्यानि हतशिष्टानि यानि वै । सेनागोप्तृनथादिश्य पुनर्व्यूहमकल्पयत्
sañjaya uvāca tataḥ sarvāṇi sainyāni hataśiṣṭāni yāni vai | senāgoptṝn athādiśya punarvyūham akalpayat ||
قال سنجيا: ثم جمع ما تبقّى من الجند بعد المقتلة، وعيّن حماةً وقادةً للجيش، وأعاد مرةً أخرى ترتيب القوات في تشكيلٍ قتاليّ جديد. وتُبرز الآيةُ إصرارَ الحرب الكئيب: فحتى بعد الخسائر الفادحة، تعود القيادة لتنظيم ما بقي، مقدِّمةً النظامَ والضبطَ وسط الخراب.
