Educational Q&A

Even a righteous person may experience profound remorse when actions—especially in war—carry heavy human cost; dharma includes the capacity for moral reflection, accountability, and the sober recognition of consequences.

Sañjaya forecasts Yudhiṣṭhira’s impending inner collapse into nirveda—an ethical and emotional recoil—suggesting that events in the battle will trigger grief and disillusionment in the dharma-minded king.
