अध्याय १५९ — रात्रौ श्रमविरामः

Night Exhaustion and Brief Pause in Battle

युधिष्ठिरों भीमसेनो धृष्टद्युम्नश्न पार्षत: । युयुधानश्न संयत्ता युद्धायैव मनो दधु: २ ।। संजय कहते हैं--राजन! द्रोणपुत्र अश्वत्थामाके द्वारा द्रपद और कुन्तिभोजके पुत्रों तथा सहसौ्रों राक्षसरोंको मारा गया देख युधिष्ठिर, भीमसेन, द्रुपदकुमार धुृष्टद्युम्न तथा युयुधानने भी सावधान होकर युद्धमें ही मन लगाया

yudhiṣṭhiro bhīmaseno dhṛṣṭadyumnaś ca pārṣataḥ | yuyudhānaś ca saṃyattā yuddhāyaiva mano dadhuḥ || 2 ||

قال سانجيا: «أيها الملك، لما رأى يودهيشثيرا وبهيمسينا ودهريشتاديومنَ ابنَ بارشَتا (دروبادا) ويويودانا أن أشوَتّھاما ابنَ درونا قد قتل دروبادا وأبناء كونتيبوجا وآلافًا من الرَّاكشَسَة، تنبّهوا جميعًا واستعدّوا، وثبّتوا عقولهم على القتال وحده.»
