मर्म भित्त्वा तु ते सर्वे संलग्ना: क्षितिमाविशन् | साथ ही, उन्होंने अच्छी तरह चलाये हुए दस पैने बाणोंसे दुर्योधनको भी घायल कर दिया। वे सारे बाण दुर्योधनके मर्मस्थानोंमें लगकर उन्हें विदीर्ण करते हुए पृथ्वीमें समा गये
marma bhittvā tu te sarve saṁlagnāḥ kṣitim āviśan |
قال سانجيا: بعدما اخترقت مواضعَه الحيوية، انغرست تلك السهام جميعًا بإحكام، ثم نفذت ومضت حتى غاصت في الأرض. ويُبرز المشهد دقّة الحرب القاسية: فالمهارة والقوة لا تُسخَّران لمجرد الإصابة، بل للتعطيل باستهداف أضعف مقاعد الحياة في الجسد، كاشفًا كيف تحوّل الحرب الإتقان إلى قصدٍ قاتل.
