न च कज्चन निन्दन्ति सन्त: शूरा नरर्षभा: | “नरश्रेष्ठ शूरवीर सज्जन शत्रुको जीतकर बढ़-बढ़कर बातें नहीं बनाते, किसीको कट वचन नहीं कहते और न किसीकी निन््दा ही करते हैं
na ca kaścana nindanti santaḥ śūrā naraṛṣabhāḥ |
قال سنجيا: «إنّ النبلاء حقًّا—الأبطال، وخيار الناس—لا يشتغلون بذمّ أحد. وحتى في حال الظفر والقوة، يكفّون عن القول الجافي وعن تتبّع عيوب الآخرين؛ فهذه العفّة في اللسان علامة الخُلُق وسط عنف الحرب.»
