अस्तं महीधरश्रेष्ठं यियासति दिवाकर: । शृणुष्वैतच्च वाक््यं मे जयद्रथवर्ध प्रति,"क्योंकि सूर्य अब पर्वतश्रेष्ठ अस्ताचलपर जाना ही चाहते हैं। जयद्रथवधके विषयमें तुम मेरी यह बात ध्यानसे सुन लो
astaṁ mahīdharaśreṣṭhaṁ yiyāsati divākaraḥ | śṛṇuṣvaitac ca vākyaṁ me jayadrathavadhe prati ||
قال سانجيا: «إن الشمس الآن آيلةٌ إلى الغروب، قاصدةً خيرَ الجبال—أفقَ الغرب. فاسمع إذن بإمعانٍ هذه الكلمات مني في شأن قتل جايادراثا.»
