उक्त संरम्भिणोग्रेण कुरूणां शृण्वतां तदा । तन्नूनमभिसंचिन्त्य दृष्टवा कर्ण च निर्जितम्

قال دِهْرِتَراشْتْرا: «حين قيلت تلك الكلمات العنيفة المتهوّرة يومئذٍ على مسمعٍ من الكورو، فلا بدّ أنه بعد أن تذكّرها ورجع إليها رأى كَرْنَة مهزومًا». وفي خضمّ مشورة الحرب وكبرياءٍ مجروح، يقرأ الملك ثِقَلَ الكلمة أخلاقيًا: فالألفاظ القاسية إذا أُطلقت أمام القوم شدّت العزم، وصاغت كيف تُرى الغلبة والهزيمة.
