sañjaya uvāca | sāntare tu pratijñāte rājño droṇena nigrahe | tataste sainikāḥ śrutvā taṃ yudhiṣṭhira-nigraham āptair āśu parijñātaṃ bhāradvāja-cikīrṣitam |
قال سنجيا: «أيها الملك، لما نذر درونا—بعد أن أمهل مهلة يسيرة—أن يقبض على الملك يودهيشثيرا، أخذ محاربوك، حين سمعوا بمسعى أسر يودهيشثيرا، يزأرون زئير الأسود ويضربون على سواعدهم بقوة. يا سليل بهاراتا! وعندئذٍ أدرك دارماراجا يودهيشثيرا سريعًا، عبر مخبرين موثوقين، كل ما كان ابن بهاردفاجا ينوي الإقدام عليه.»
