Duryodhana’s Incursion and the Tumult of Battle

Educational Q&A

Even amid war, ethical responsibility includes care for allies and accountability to righteous public judgment (loka). One should not pursue personal attachment (seeking only one’s own) while neglecting companions who share the burden of dharma.

In the tense aftermath of battlefield developments, concern arises for the safety of Krishna, Arjuna, and Sātyaki (Yuyudhāna). The speaker emphasizes that failing to search for Sātyaki would invite blame, and asks to be loudly informed—by a lion-roar—once the three are seen safe.
