Duryodhana’s Incursion and the Tumult of Battle
शैनेय: सात्यकि: सत्यो मित्राणामभयंकर: । तदिदं होकमेवासीद् द्विधा जात॑ ममाद्य वै,महाबाहु युधिष्ठिर सात्यकिके रथके विषयमें मन-ही-मन इस प्रकार चिन्ता करने लगे --अहो! मैंने ही रणक्षेत्रमें मित्रोंको अभय देनेवाले सत्यवादी शिनिपौत्र सात्यकिको अर्जुनके मार्गपर जानेके लिये भेजा था। इसलिये यह मेरा हृदय जो पहले एकहीकी चिन्तामें निमग्न था, अब दो व्यक्तियोंके लिये चिन्तित होकर दो भागोंमें बँट गया है
śaineyaḥ sātyakiḥ satyo mitrāṇām abhayamkaraḥ | tad idaṃ hṛdayam evāsīd dvidhā jātaṃ mamādya vai ||
قال سنجيا: «شَيْنَيَة ساتيَكي—الصادقُ الذي يمنح أصدقاءه الأمان—(لا يفارق خاطري). اليوم انقسم قلبي حقًّا إلى شطرين؛ إذ إن الهمَّ الواحد الثابت الذي كان من قبل قد انشطر الآن إلى همّين.»
