Sunset Vow and Curse-Condition
शनैर्विश्रम्भयन्नश्चान् याहि यत्रारिवाहिनी । यत्रैते सतलत्राणा: सुयोधनपुरोगमा:,'सूत! धीरे-धीरे घोड़ोंको आराम देते हुए उस ओर चलो, जहाँ वह शत्रुसेना खड़ी है, जहाँ ये तलत्राण धारण किये दुर्योधन आदि योद्धा उपस्थित हैं
śanair viśrambhayann aśvān yāhi yatrārivāhinī | yatraite satalatrāṇāḥ suyodhanapurogamāḥ ||
قال سانجيا: «يا سوتا، تقدّم على مهل، مُريحًا الخيول ومُثبّتًا خطاها، واذهب إلى الموضع الذي اصطفّت فيه جموع العدو—حيث يقف أولئك المحاربون وقد لبسوا واقيات الساق (greaves)، وسويوذانا (دوريودانا) في مقدّمتهم».
संजय उवाच
Even in violent conflict, one should act with steadiness and discernment: advance deliberately, maintain control of one’s resources (the horses/chariot), and avoid impulsive haste—an ethic of disciplined conduct amid war.
Sañjaya issues an instruction to the charioteer to move forward slowly while giving the horses rest, heading toward the position where the opposing army stands, led by Suyodhana (Duryodhana), with warriors equipped in protective leg/foot armor.
