Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 114 — Karṇa–Bhīmasena Missile Exchange, Disarmament, and Arjuna’s Intervention
sampraikṣat tāvakaṃ sainyaṃ vyāghro mṛgagaṇān iva |

The verse highlights unwavering courage and clarity of intent in a righteous struggle: a warrior who has chosen his duty does not waver, but assesses the opposing force with steady, fearless focus.
Sañjaya narrates to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Sātyaki turns his attention toward the Kaurava host and surveys it with predatory confidence—likened to a tiger eyeing deer—foreshadowing imminent combat and his aggressive advance.
