Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 114 — Karṇa–Bhīmasena Missile Exchange, Disarmament, and Arjuna’s Intervention
अहं राज्ञ: करिष्यामि रक्षां पुरुषसत्तम | सात्यकिके ऐसा कहनेपर भीमसेनने उनसे कहा--'अच्छा भैया! तुम कार्यसिद्धिके लिये आगे बढ़ो। पुरुषप्रवर! मैं राजाकी रक्षा करूँगा” || ७३ $ ।। एवमुक्त: प्रत्युवाच भीमसेनं स माधव:
ahaṁ rājñaḥ kariṣyāmi rakṣāṁ puruṣasattama | sātyakike evaṁ kahane'pi bhīmasenena tebhyaḥ proktam— “accha bhaiyā! tvaṁ kāryasiddhaye agre vardhasva | puruṣapravara! ahaṁ rājānaṁ rakṣiṣyāmi” || 73 || evam uktaḥ pratyuvāca bhīmasenaṁ sa mādhavaḥ |
قال سانجيا: «يا خيرَ الرجال، أنا أحمي الملك.» ومع أن ساتياكي قال ذلك، أجابه بهيماسينا: «حسنًا يا أخي! تقدّم إلى الأمام لإنجاز المهمة. يا أكرمَ الرجال، أنا أتولى حراسة الملك.» ولما خوطب على هذا النحو، أجاب ماذافا (كريشنا) بهيماسينا.
