Even within the chaos of war and the general hunger for victory (jayagṛddhi), dharmic action is portrayed as purposeful and accountable: Arjuna and Kṛṣṇa move with concentrated intent toward a specific agent of wrongdoing (Jayadratha), emphasizing resolve, responsibility, and targeted justice rather than indiscriminate violence.
As the opposing armies become fully engaged in battle, Arjuna and Kṛṣṇa drive forward on their chariot specifically to reach Saindhava—Jayadratha—making him the immediate objective amid the broader fighting.
