ततो भीमो महाबाहुर्विरथो रथिनां वर: । गदां प्रगृह वेगेन प्रचस्कन्द रथोत्तमात्,इस प्रकार रथहीन होनेपर रथियोंमें श्रेष्ठ महाबाहु भीमसेन हाथमें गदा लेकर उस उत्तम रथसे वेगपूर्वक कूद पड़े
tato bhīmo mahābāhur viratho rathināṃ varaḥ | gadāṃ pragṛhya vegena pracaskanda rathottamāt |
قال سانجيا: ثم إن بهيما عظيمَ الذراعين—وقد صار بلا عربة، ومع ذلك ظلّ أسبقَ الفرسان على العجلات—قبض على هراوته وقفز بقوةٍ وسرعةٍ من تلك العربة الممتازة.
संजय उवाच
Even when circumstances strip away one’s usual supports (here, the chariot), steadfastness in one’s duty and courageous adaptation remain essential; valor is shown not only by advantage but by resolve under disadvantage.
Bhīma has become chariotless; nevertheless, he grips his mace and swiftly jumps down from an excellent chariot, signaling readiness to continue fighting on foot with determination.
