इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत भीष्मपर्वके अन्तर्गत भीष्मवधपर्वमें युनाभ आदि धृतराष्ट्रके पुत्रोका वधविषयक अद्ठासीवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārate bhīṣmaparvaṇi antargate bhīṣmavadhaparvaṇi yudhnābhy-ādi dhṛtarāṣṭrasya putrāṇāṃ vadha-viṣayakaḥ aṣṭāśītitamo 'dhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ
يختم سنجيا: «وهكذا، في الـŚrī Mahābhārata، ضمن بهيشما بارفا—وخاصة في قسم مقتل بهيشما—يكتمل الفصل الثامن والثمانون، المتعلق بقتل أبناء دِهرتراشترا ابتداءً بيُدهنابها وغيرهم. وتؤكد صيغة الختام هذا الانحلال الأخلاقي والسياسي المتسارع لسلالة الكاورافا كلما اشتدت تبعات الحرب.»
