Arjuna’s Advance toward Bhīṣma; The Gāṇḍīva’s Signal and the Armies’ Convergence
puraskṛtya mahārāja bhīmasena-ghaṭotkacau | pūjayantas tadānyonyaṁ mudā paramayā yutāḥ ||

The verse highlights how collective morale and mutual respect strengthen a righteous cause: warriors advance not merely with weapons, but with unity, encouragement, and disciplined confidence—ethical force supporting martial force.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the Pāṇḍava troops move forward with Bhīma and Ghaṭotkaca at the front, praising one another joyfully while roaring like lions, accompanied by conches and various instruments.
