भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)

आम वचो भीष्म: प्रहसन्‌ वै मुहुर्मुहुः । [ तनयं तुभ्यं क्रोधादुद्वृत्य चक्षुषी,यह सुनकर भीष्म बारंबार हँसकर क्रोधसे आँखें तरेरते हुए आपके पुत्रसे बोले --

قال سنجيا: لما سمع بهيشما تلك الكلمات ضحك مرارًا وتكرارًا؛ ثم استبدّ به الغضب، فوسّع عينيه وحدّق بنظرة قاطعة، وخاطب ابنك—مُظهِرًا ازدراءه للمشورة التي سمعها، ومُطلقًا إنذارًا صارمًا صاغته أخلاق الحرب القاسية وواجب المسؤولية.
