भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)
यत्र यत्र सुतस्तुभ्यं यं यं पश्यति भारत । तत्र तत्र न्यवर्तन्त क्षत्रियाणां महारथा:
yatra yatra sutas tubhyaṃ yaṃ yaṃ paśyati bhārata | tatra tatra nyavartanta kṣatriyāṇāṃ mahārathāḥ ||
قال سَنجايا: «يا بهاراتا، حيثما ألقى ابنُك بصرَه—إلى من نظر—ففي ذلك الموضع وفي تلك اللحظة كان عِظامُ مُقاتلي العَرَبات من الكشاتريا يعودون أدراجهم». ويُبرز هذا السطر كيف أثّر تفحّصُ دُريودَهَنَ القَلِق وسلطانُ أمره في حركةِ ومعنوياتِ حتى أرفعِ المقاتلين وسطَ اضطرابِ المعركة.
