कलिड्नां च समरे भीमस्य च महात्मन: । जगत: प्रक्षयकरं घोररूपं भयावहम्‌

Transliteration

kaliṅgānāṃ ca samare bhīmasya ca mahātmanaḥ | jagataḥ prakṣayakaraṃ ghorarūpaṃ bhayāvaham ||

Translation

قال سنجيا: ثم في ساحة القتال اندلع لقاءٌ مروّع بين محاربي كالينغا وبهِيما العظيم النفس—منظرٌ رهيب، يبعث الفزع، كأنه قادر على إنزال الخراب بالعالم كله. ويُبرز المشهد كيف تبدو حُمّى الحرب إذا انفلتت من عقالها كأنها يومُ فناء، وإن جرت ضمن إطار حربٍ تُنسب إلى الدَّرما.
