Bhīṣma–Dhanaṃjaya Duel and the Opening Clash
तयोर्नवरयोर्दृष्टवा तादृशं त॑ पराक्रमम्
tayor nara-varyor dṛṣṭvā tādṛśaṃ taḥ parākramam
قال سنجيا: لما شهد تلك البسالة العجيبة التي أظهرها ذانك الرجلان من خيار الرجال، هزّته شدة بأسهما—وكان ذلك نذيرَ شؤمٍ يدل على مدى ضراوة القتال وهو يتفجّر، وكيف أن القوة إذا قُرنت بالحرب اختبرت حدود الدharma (الواجب القويم) وضبط النفس.
