स तथा कुरु गाड्गेय यथा हन्येत फाल्गुन: । 'प्रजानाथ! आपहीके कारण कर्णने भी हथियार डाल दिया है और वह रणभूमिमें अर्जुनसे युद्ध नहीं कर रहा है। कर्ण मेरा सदा हित चाहनेवाला है। गंगानन्दन! आप ऐसा प्रयत्न कीजिये
sa tathā kuru gāṅgeya yathā hanyeta phālgunaḥ |
قال سَنْجَيا: «يا سليلَ الغانغا (بهيشما)، افعلْ بحيث يُقتَل فالغونا (أرجونا).» إن هذا القول يُظهر إلحاحَ معسكر الكاورافا في ساحة الحرب، حيث يطغى طلبُ الحسم على التردد الأخلاقي، ويتركّز السعي على إزالة أعظم تهديد.
