सम्बभूवुरनीकेषु बहवो भैरवस्वना: । वर्तमाने महाभीमे तस्मिन् वीरवरक्षये,इति श्रीमहाभारते भीष्मपर्वणि भीष्मवधपर्वणि संकुलयुद्धे षट्चत्वारिंशो5ध्याय: ।। ४६ ।। इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत भीष्मपर्वके अन्तर्गत भीष्मवधपर्वमें दोनों सेनाओंका घमासान युद्धविषयक छियालीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
saṃbabhūvur anīkeṣu bahavo bhairavasvanāḥ | vartamāne mahābhīme tasmin vīravarakṣaye ||
قال سنجيا: في صفوف الجيوش ارتفعت صرخاتٌ كثيرةٌ مروّعة. ومع استمرار ذلك القتل الفادح، ذلك الهلاك الرهيب لأفاضل الأبطال، أخذ ضجيج الحرب ورعبها يتعاظمان من كل جانب.
