काममाश्रित्य दुष्पूरं दम्भभानमदान्विता: । मोहाद गृहीत्वासदग्राहान् प्रवर्तन्तेडशुचिव्रता:
kāmam āśritya duṣpūraṁ dambha-māna-madānvitāḥ | mohād gṛhītvā sad-agrāhān pravartante 'śuci-vratāḥ ||
أولئك الذين امتلأوا بالرياء والكِبر وسُكر الأنا، يلجأون إلى شهوات لا تُستوفى أبداً. وبسبب الوهم يتشبثون بمذاهب باطلة، وقد اعتنقوا رياضات نجسة وسلوكاً فاسداً، فيطوفون في الدنيا على تلك الحال.
