Bhīṣma-nipāta-saṃvāda — Sañjaya’s Report of Bhīṣma’s Fall (भीष्मनिपातसंवादः)
हयान् गजपदातींश्व रथांश्न तरसा बहून् निमज्जयन्तं समरे परवीरापहारिणम्
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | hayān gajapadātīṁś ca rathāṁś ca tarasā bahūn nimajjayantaṁ samare paravīrāpahāriṇam |
قال دِهْرِتَرَاشْتْرَا: «في ساحة القتال أرى بِهِيشْما، بسرعة لا تُقاوَم، يطغى ويُغرق—كأنما يُغَمِّس في بحر الحرب—أعدادًا عظيمة من خيل العدو وفيلته ومشاته وعرباته؛ ذاك الذي في الوغى يصير سالبَ أرواح أبطال الخصم.»
