निर्मनुष्यान् रथान् राजन् सुयुक्ताञ्जवनैहयै: । वातायमानानद्राक्षं द्वियमाणान् विशाम्पते
sañjaya uvāca | nirmanuṣyān rathān rājan suyuktāñ javanaiḥ hayaiḥ | vātāyamānān adrākṣaṃ dvyamāṇān viśāmpate ||
قال سانجيا: أيها الملك، لقد رأيتُ عرباتٍ كثيرة لا رجل فيها، لكنها محكمةُ الربط بخيولٍ سريعة. كانت تُساق كأن الريح تدفعها، فتُجرّ وتُدوَّر في جهات شتّى، يا سيّد الرعية—منظرٌ مشؤوم يكشف الفوضى والرعب اللذين يطلقهما الحرب حين ينهار النظام وتخور سيطرة البشر.
