पार्थहेतो: पराक्रान्तो भीष्मस्यायो धन प्रति । राजन! भीष्मजीके साथ युद्ध करनेमें अर्जुनकी सहायताके लिये पराक्रम करनेवाले सुभद्राकुमार अभिमन्युने राजकुमार बृहद्वलके साथ युद्ध किया

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | pārtha-hetoḥ parākrānto bhīṣmasya āyodhanaṃ prati | rājan, bhīṣmajīke sātha yuddha karane meṃ arjunakī sahāyatā ke liye parākrama karanevāle subhadrā-kumāra abhimanyune rāja-kumāra bṛhadvalake sātha yuddha kiyā |

Translation

قال سنجيا: أيها الملك، إن أبهيمَنيو—الابن الباسل لسوبهادرا—تقدّم من أجل أرجونا نحو جبهة قتال بهيشما. وإذ أراد أن يعضد أرجونا في صراعه مع بهيشما، اشتبك في مبارزة مع الأمير بريهادڤالا. وتُبرز هذه الواقعة واجب الوفاء للقضية وللأهل، حتى وسط الثقل الأخلاقي للحرب.
