युधिष्ठिर उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic conduct in a public and ritual setting: even amid acclaim and pleasant speech, a dharmātmā remains focused on rightful duty and proceeds with reverence toward the sacrificial order, suggesting inner discipline and ethical steadiness.
Arjuna, described as righteous-souled, listens to the pleasing words of the people and then enters the prepared sacrificial enclosure, situating him within the ongoing Aśvamedha-related proceedings of Yudhiṣṭhira’s rite.
