बभ्रुवाहन-धनंजययोः संग्रामः
Babhruvāhana and Dhanaṃjaya’s engagement at Maṇipūra
इत्युक्तस्तस्थ पितरं स पप्रच्छार्जुनस्तथा
ity uktas tasthā pitaraṃ sa papracchārjunas tathā
قال فايشَمبايانا: فلما خوطب أرجونا بذلك، مكث في مكانه ثم سأل أباه، يلتمس البيان فيما قيل وما هو السبيل القويم الذي ينبغي اتباعه.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the dharmic posture of inquiry: after receiving instruction, one should remain attentive and ask clarifying questions—especially in matters involving duty, lineage, and right conduct.
Vaiśaṃpāyana narrates a transition: Arjuna, having been addressed, stays present and proceeds to question his father, indicating the start or continuation of a father–son exchange.
