इदं चाद्भुतमत्यन्तं कृतमस्मत्प्रियेप्सपा
idaṃ cādbhutam atyantaṃ kṛtam asmatpriyepsapā
وهذا أيضًا فعلٌ بالغُ العَجَب، أقدم عليه من كان حريصًا على نيل ما هو عزيزٌ علينا (رضانا ومودّتنا).
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical weight of intention: a deed becomes especially praiseworthy when performed with loyal purpose—seeking to please and benefit those one is bound to by duty and affection.
Vaiśampāyana remarks that a particular action just described is extraordinarily marvelous, emphasizing that it was undertaken by someone aiming to win the goodwill or what is dear to the listeners (or their side).
