प्रत्यब्रुवं महाबाहो यथाश्रुतमरिंदम । शत्रुदमन महाबाहु माधव! उस ब्राह्मणके इस प्रकार पूछनेपर मैंने जैसा सुना था वैसा ही उसे बताया
pratyabruvaṃ mahābāho yathāśrutam ariṃdama | śatrudamana mahābāhu mādhava! |
فأجبتُ، يا عظيمَ الذراعين، على نحوِ ما سمعتُ تمامًا، يا قاهرَ الأعداء. يا ماذافا، لما سألني ذلك البراهمن على هذا النحو، قصصتُ عليه الخبر كما تلقّيته—من غير تحريف.
