स हि धर्म: सुपर्याप्तो ब्रह्मण: पदवेदने । न शक्‍यं तन्‍्मया भूयस्तथा वक्तुमशेषत:,क्योंकि वह धर्म ब्रह्मपदकी प्राप्ति करानेके लिये पर्याप्त था, वह सारा-का-सारा धर्म उसी रूपमें फिर दुहरा देना अब मेरे वशकी बात भी नहीं है

sa hi dharmaḥ suparyāpto brahmaṇaḥ padavedane | na śakyaṃ tanmayā bhūyas tathā vaktum aśeṣataḥ ||

«لقد كان ذلك التعليم في الدَّرما كافيًا تمامًا لقيادة المرء إلى إدراك المقام الأسمى لبراهْمان. غير أن تكرار تلك الدَّرما كلّها مرةً أخرى، على النحو نفسه كاملًا بلا نقص، لم يعد في وسعي.»
