Kuntī–Vyāsa Dialogue on Durvāsā’s Boon and Karṇa’s Birth

युधिष्ठिरस्तु नृपतिर्नातिप्रीतमनास्तदा । धारयामास तदू राज्यं निहतज्ञातिबान्धव:,जिनके बन्धु-बान्धव नष्ट हो गये थे, वे राजा युधिष्ठिर मनमें अधिक प्रसन्न न रहते हुए किसी प्रकार राज्यका भार सँभालने लगे

yudhiṣṭhiras tu nṛpatir nātiprītamanās tadā | dhārayāmāsa tadū rājyaṃ nihatajñātibāndhavaḥ ||

قال فايشَمبايانا: «وفي ذلك الحين كان الملك يودهيشثيرا غيرَ طيّب النفس ولا كثيرَ السرور؛ ومع ذلك مضى يتحمّل عبءَ تلك المملكة على مضض، إذ إن أقرباءه وأصدقاءه قد قُتلوا.»
