ततः स नृपतिर्दूष्टवा वह्निमायान्तमन्तिकात्
tataḥ sa nṛpatir dṛṣṭvā vahnim āyāntam antikāt
ثم إن الملك، لما رأى النار تقترب منه، تنبَّه واستعدَّ لهذا المنعطف الجلل—لحظةٌ مشؤومةٌ تضيق فيها عواقب الأفعال الماضية وحتميةُ الزمان حتى على ذوي البأس.
