धृतराष्ट्रदर्शनाय पाण्डवानां प्रयाणम् | The Pāṇḍavas Prepare to Visit Dhṛtarāṣṭra
धर्मस्य जननी भद्रे भवित्री त्वं शुभानने । वशे स्थास्यन्ति ते देवा यांस्त्वमावाहयिष्यसि,'भद्रे! तुम धर्मकी जननी होओगी। शुभानने! तुम जिन देवताओंका आवाहन करोगी, वे तुम्हारे वशमें हो जायँगे'
dharmasya jananī bhadre bhavitrī tvaṃ śubhānane | vaśe sthāsyanti te devā yāṃs tvam āvāhayiṣyasi ||
قال فايشَمبايانا: «يا ذاتَ اليُمن، إنكِ مُقَدَّرةٌ أن تكوني أُمَّ الدَّرما. يا حسناءَ الوجه، أيُّ الآلهةِ تدعينهم وتستحضرينهم سيصيرون في طاعتكِ وتحت سلطانكِ».
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse links spiritual authority to dharma: one who becomes a source or embodiment of Dharma gains the capacity to summon divine forces, suggesting that ethical-spiritual stature legitimizes power rather than mere force.
Vaiśampāyana delivers a prophetic assurance to an addressed woman, praising her auspiciousness and foretelling that she will become ‘the mother of Dharma’ and that any deities she ritually invokes will be subject to her command.
