Shloka 153

अध्याय १५ (Āśramavāsika-parva): धृतराष्ट्रस्य वनवासानुज्ञायाचनम् — Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s renewed plea for consent to forest-dwelling

समाधेयास्त्वया राजंस्त्वय्यद्य कुलधूर्गता । शत्रुसूदन! मेरी बहू द्रौपदीका भी सदा प्रिय करते रहना। कुरुश्रेष्ठ. तुम भीमसेन, अर्जुन और नकुलको भी सदा संतुष्ट रखना। आजसे कुरुकुलका भार तुम्हारे ही ऊपर है

samādheyās tvayā rājan tvayy adya kuladhūrgatāḥ | śatrusūdana! mama vadhū draupadīṃ api sadā priyaṃ kuru | kuruśreṣṭha! tvaṃ bhīmasenam arjunaṃ ca nakulaṃ ca sadā santuṣṭaṃ rakṣa | adya-se kurukulasya bhāro tavaiva upari ||

قال فايشَمبايانا: «أيها الملك، عليك من اليوم أن تُحكِم ترتيب الأمور كلها؛ فمنذ اليوم يقع عبء السلالة على عاتقك. يا قاهر الأعداء، داوم على إكرام دروبدي—كنّتي—بالمحبة. يا خير آل كورو، أبقِ بهيماسينا وأرجونا وناكولا راضين على الدوام. فمن هذا اليوم، مسؤولية نسب كورو موكولة إليك وحدك».
