नक्षत्रेषु श्राद्धफलविधानम् (Śrāddha Outcomes According to Nakṣatras)
sa garbho divyasaṁsthāno dīptimān pāvakaprabhaḥ | divyaṁ śaravaṇaṁ prāpya vavṛdhe priyadarśanaḥ ||

The verse highlights the idea that extraordinary virtue or divine purpose is often marked by auspicious signs—radiance, beauty, and a fitting place of birth—suggesting that inner tejas (spiritual potency) manifests outwardly and calls for protection and proper nurturing.
Bhishma describes a wondrous child: even as an embryo he shines like fire, has a divine bodily form, is pleasing to behold, and after reaching the divine reed-thicket (Śaravaṇa) he is born there and grows steadily day by day.
