Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
इत्युक्त: स तथेत्युक्त्वा भगवान् हव्यवाहन: । जगामाथ दुराधर्षो गड़ां भागीरथीं प्रति,देवताओंके ऐसा कहनेपर “तथास्तु” कहकर दुर्धर्ष भगवान् हव्यवाहन भागीरथी गंगाके तटपर गये
ity uktaḥ sa tathety uktvā bhagavān havyavāhanaḥ | jagāmātha durādharṣo gaṅgāṃ bhāgīrathīṃ prati ||
قال بهيشما: فلمّا قال الآلهة ذلك، أجاب هافيَفاهانا—إله النار الذي لا يُقاوَم—قائلًا: «ليكن كذلك». ثم انطلق متوجّهًا نحو نهر الغانغا البهاغيراثي (Bhāgīrathī).
