गाव ऊचु: नावमन्यामहे देवि न त्वां परिभवामहे । अध्रुवा चलचित्तासि ततत्त्वां वर्जयामहे,गौओंने कहा--देवि! हम तुम्हारा अपमान या अनादर नहीं करतीं। केवल तुम्हारा त्याग कर रही हैं। वह भी इसलिये कि तुम्हारा चित्त चंचल है। तुम कहीं भी स्थिर होकर नहीं रहती
gāva ūcuḥ—nāvamanyāmahe devi na tvāṃ paribhavāmahe | adhruvā calacittāsi tat tvāṃ varjayāmahe ||
قالت الأبقار: «يا إلهة، لسنا نستخفّ بك ولا نريد إهانتك. غير أنّا نتركك، لأنك غير ثابتةٍ متقلّبةُ الخاطر؛ لا تقيمين على حالٍ ولا تستقرّين في موضع.»
