अन्न हि परमं गावो देवानां परमं हवि: । स्वाहाकारवषट्कारीौ गोषु नित्यं प्रतिक्ठिती
Translation
قال بيشما: «الأبقار هي الغذاء الأسمى حقًّا، وهي للآلهة أرفعُ الهَفِس (قربانُ الذبيحة). ونداءا الطقس: “سْفاهَا” و“فَشَطْ” —وهما صيغتا الإهداء في اليَجْنَة— قائمان أبدًا على الأبقار، إذ بهنّ يتعلّقان.»
