Merit and Destinations from the Gift of Cows

विधिवत पावकं हुत्वा ब्रह्मलोके नराधिप । नरेन्द्र! शिष्योंको वेद पढ़ानेवाला अध्यापक क्लेश सहन करनेके कारण अक्षय फलका भागी होता है। अग्निमें विधिपूर्वक हवन करके ब्राह्मण ब्रह्मलोकमें प्रतिष्ठित होता है ।।
Translation
قال بهيشما: «أيها الملك، إن المعلّم الذي يقرئ التلاميذ الفيدا، لما يحتمله من مشقة، ينال نصيبًا من ثمرةٍ لا تفنى. والبراهمن الذي يقيم القربان في النار على الوجه الشرعي (هوما) يُثبَّت في برهمالوكـا. وكذلك من درس الفيدا ثم سلّمها إلى تلاميذ عارفين بالإنصاف والحق، نال هو أيضًا ثمرةً جليلة.»
