ब्राह्मण उवाच
This line is a colophon marking the close of a chapter situated in the dāna-dharma (ethics of giving) section; it frames the teaching as part of a broader instruction on righteous charity and its consequences, presented through the Nṛga episode.
The speaker’s discourse reaches a formal stopping point: the text announces that the seventieth chapter of the Nṛga episode, within the Anuśāsana Parva’s dāna-dharma section, has concluded.
