उपच्छन्नं प्रकाशं वा वृत्त्या तान् प्रतिपालयेत् । जिन ब्राह्मणोंका आचरण निन्दित न हो
upacchannaṁ prakāśaṁ vā vṛttyā tān pratipālayet |
قال بهيشما: «ينبغي إعالةُ أمثال هؤلاء البراهمة—سِرًّا أو علنًا—بترتيب أسباب معاشهم ومواصلة دعمهم على الدوام، ولا سيما حين تكون سيرتهم بلا لوم ومع ذلك يعانون لافتقارهم إلى القوت. والمغزى الأخلاقي أن حماة المجتمع يجب أن يسعوا إلى البحث عن المستحقين وأن يضمنوا كفايتهم، من غير أن تُمسّ كرامتهم.»
